I'm In A State Of Serious Mourning

I don't know where to begin. There was a really bad storm last night and I think that it killed my television. We only have one. We are a house divided on the television issue. I love it, David hates it. It appears that it may be awhile before I am able to replace it. I'm not sure I will be able to function. So, dear readers, I hope you'll forgive me as I take some much needed time and mourn the loss of my television that has faithfully served me for 13 years.

P.S. If you hear of any really fabulous sales on televisions, please let me know.

OMG--did lightning hit it? That's frightening, not to mention sad. My advice is to definitely upgrade to HD; they are pretty reasonable now and well worth the price difference. I'm sure your local WalMart would have some modestly priced sets that would meet your needs. I hope this gets resolved soon for your sake--with school resuming, you need some TV time in the evenings.

I'm so sorry :-( I've got a little 13" I had in my classroom that you can have to get you by until you get a new one, if you want it.
